Meet Dr. Anthony Maiorana

Dr. Anthony Maiorana is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon originally from Girard, Ohio. He received his Bachelors degree from Youngstown State University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Physics. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1995.

He is a twenty plus year military veteran. While on active duty, Dr. Maiorana completed a One Year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Martin Army Community Hospital, Ft. Benning, GA. He also completed a four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft. Lewis, WA. Dr. Maiorana's last military assignment was as the Assistant Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA.

Dr. Maiorana is a Diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Maiorana has been married to his wife Shelly for 16 years and has three beautiful children, Chloe, Ava and Luke. He enjoys all sports, especially golf and boxing!
