Meet Dr. Daniel Ravel

Dr. Daniel Ravel is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who has practiced children's dentistry in Fayetteville, NC since 1997.  He is dedicated to improving the oral and dental health of all children.

Dr. Ravel's educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1974.  A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago in  1979.  He completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency in Fort Meade, Maryland, where he obtained his Pediatric Dentistry Certificate in 1992.

Dr. Ravel's Professional Positions have been a Mentor for pediatric dentistry, Comprehensive Dentistry Residency Program, Fort Hood, Texas: 07/1998 to 06/1999.  A Mentor for pediatric dentistry, Comprehensive Dentistry Residency Program, Fort Bragg, NC: 07/1999 to 06/2001.  He was also a Dental Officer, United States Army: 09/1979 to 02/2003 where he achieved the Order of Military Medical Merit.

Dr. Ravel's Professional Memberships include:  Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry; Fellow, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry; Fayetteville North Carolina Dental Society and North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Ravel has made numerous presentations to medical and dental teaching programs, clinics, and organizations in various countries around the world.  He currently holds staff privileges at area hospitals including Cape Fear Valley, Highsmith-Rainey, Southeastern Regional in Lumberton, Central Carolina in Sanford and the Fayetteville Ambulatory Center.
