Conscious Sedation

The American Dental Association estimates that 15% of all Americans avoid regular dental care due to anxiety and fear associated with dental treatments. Village Family Dental now offers conscious sedation dentistry for anxiety control or for patients that want a more relaxing dental visit.

We offer sedation services ranging from oral sedation to Intravenous (IV) sedation for patients with special needs including, but not limited to, dental phobias, anxiety, fear of injections and patients with severe gag reflex. The method of sedation is tailored to the needs of the patient through a careful evaluation process.

This service is available for general dental procedures, as well as specialty care. Our endodontist, periodontist, prosthodontist, and oral surgeons provide specialty care with sedation.
