Important Information Regarding COVID-19
In recognition of ongoing news reports and the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus, we realize our patients have questions. As dedicated health care professionals, we want you to know that we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and staff. Our practice strictly adheres to and exceeds the standards for infection control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols, utilizing single-use disposable materials, and more. Every effort we have in place is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We want you to know that we are monitoring this situation very closely, and we will keep you updated regularly.
Symptoms of coronavirus are reported as flu-like, with varying degrees of severity. While we do not know everything about this virus to date, individuals who are elderly and/or immunocompromised appear to be the most at risk of a severe infection. To ensure your health and safety, and the health and safety of everyone at our practice, please reschedule your appointment if you or a member of your household has a cough, fever, and/or flu-like symptoms. In addition, please reschedule your appointment if you have traveled to any areas within the past 14 days that are at high risk for contracting the coronavirus.

To Our Patients,
The American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons have issued correspondence that it is in the best interest of all staff and patients to postpone routine and non-emergent dental care for a period. Today, we have made the very difficult decision to comply with their guidance and close our doors until March 31, 2020 to all non-urgent and preventative care appointments. We will still see emergency cases and perform emergency treatment. Thank you for understanding as we, like all other businesses, navigate through uncharted territory.
While we know that this reduction in access will create many challenges for our patients, team members and our business, we feel a social obligation to do our part to stop the spread of COVID 19. Dental office professionals are at a greater risk for the transmission of COVID-19 because of the nature of the virus and how it is transmitted.
We have more than appropriate PPE (Person Protective Equipment) for our staff and patients, but also realize there is a shortage of items due to the current circumstance we are facing. We feel obligated to save our supplies for patients who need it the most for emergency treatments. Note that we have also been very diligent with additional patient screening, and additional terminal cleanings within our offices.
Our staff will reach out to you shortly if you have an upcoming scheduled visit that is routine or non-emergent to reschedule. If you do have a dental emergency, please feel free to call us to be seen. Office numbers and text lines are listed below.
