Tooth Eruption

The two bottom front teeth are the first to develop in your baby’s mouth, typically around six to eight months. The four upper front teeth and the remaining teeth will appear periodically in pairs until the child is about 2 ½ years old. At this age, your child should have all 20 of their teeth.

By age five or six, the first permanent teeth will begin to erupt. Some of these replace baby teeth and some do not. Don’t worry if teeth are a few months early or late as all children are different!
