MOLLY GUY, DDS
Dr. Molly Guy has lived in Fayetteville, North Carolina since she was 3 years old. After graduating from Fayetteville Academy in 2001, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010 from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
Dr. Guy began her career with Village Family Dental in July of 2010. She currently provides excellent dental care at our Hope Mills and Valleygate locations. She’s certified laser proficient and performs CO2 laser frenectomies for infant and older patients with abnormally functioning tongue and lip frenulums. Dr. Guy is a member of the Greater Fayetteville Dental Society, the Fayetteville Young Professionals, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and volunteers with the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation and The Care Clinic.
She currently resides in Fayetteville with her husband, their two sons, and their dog.
FAITH MCGIBBON, DDS
Dr. Faith McGibbon is an owner and Senior Partner of Village Family Dental and the head of our Pediatric Practice. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she received her BSC in Chemistry from Howard University. She then received her DDS degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry.Dr. McGibbon is also a military veteran. Upon graduation from dental school in 1990, she was selected for the Army’s one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program and served a total of four years with the U.S. Army Dental Corps. Her career with Village Family Dental began in 1994. She completed specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University Of Maryland School of Dentistry and returned to Village Family Dental in 2001 to lead our rapidly expanding Pediatric Practice as the Director of Pediatric Dentistry She is She became a partner of Village Family Dental in January 2002.
Dr. McGibbon is an active and published member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and holds staff privileges at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Highsmith-Rainey Hospital, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center-Hoke Hospital, and the Fayetteville Ambulatory Center. She is also a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. The aspect she enjoys most about her job is being able to provide children with dental care.
Dr. McGibbon is bilingual. She is fluent in Spanish. She currently resides in the Fayetteville area with her husband, Tony and son, Brendan. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling internationally and also loves spending time at Sunset Beach, NC.
SARAH LESTER, Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Sarah Lester was born in England and lived in Mississippi and Texas before being stationed in Fayetteville, NC with her Air Force father. She is a graduate of Pine Forest High School and received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from NC State University in 2008. She obtained her Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) training from UC San Diego in 2014 and her Lactation Consultant training from UC San Diego in 2015. She became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2015 and also received her Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Components of Care from Postpartum Support International (PSI) training in 2017.
Sarah is a member of the Fayetteville Chapter of the La Leche League (LLL) and of the Breastfeeding Coalition of Cumberland County. She is also a member of the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition and the North Carolina Lactation Consultants Association. When asked what she likes most about her job, Sarah says:
“I love working with babies as well as helping families find happy breastfeeding. There is no greater reward than knowing I’ve been able to help a family continue breastfeeding in a manner that is beneficial for both mom, baby, and the whole family.”
Sarah currently resides in the Fayetteville area with her husband, Eric, and their three daughters. In her spare time she enjoys working with NICU babies and premature infants. Her hobbies include spending time with her daughters, playing princesses with them and any other imaginary story they think up.
